Stephanie began her yoga journey ten years ago as a dedicated, kind, caring and consistent student. Now Stephanie prides herself on being a dedicated, kind, caring and consistent a teacher.
We all come to yoga looking for something, be it a form of exercise, to heal trauma, to rehabilitate an injury, or to feel part of a community. Yoga has become Stephanie’s therapy. Every day she practices on her mat, Stephanie is transported to her happy, healing, and safe space. She made the decision to embrace yoga to help her to save her mind, body, and soul.
Stephanie believes that physically, mentally and spiritually, you can find whatever you need or desire from the practice of yoga. She believes that we are all the masters of our own temples, and that we have the innate ability to become the yogi we aspire to be. It is her honor to be a small part of guiding students on that journey.
Stephanie is a recent 200 hr. RYT who completed her training through the Fluid Yoga Teacher Training Program at Newfane Village Yoga. Stephanie plans to share her trainings and lineage with you through what she has coined as “Yogi Do”, a combination of Yoga, Pilates, and Tae Kwon Do. Yogi Do combines movement in a functional flow that Stephanie hopes you will find fun, strength building, mindful and community oriented. Stephanie brings to her classes hands on assists and adjustments, and a fun and rewarding style that we hope you will love.
What you might not know about Stephanie is that she is also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a business owner, a widow, and most importantly a single parent to two amazing children.
